Which Tarot Major Arcana matches your personality?

The 22 Tarot Major Arcana, from The Fool to The World, carry centuries of symbolism about journeys, choices and ways of moving through the world. This quiz uses those 22 cards as a playful mirror: instead of drawing a card at random, you answer questions about how you react to everyday situations, and discover which card best reflects who you are.

This is an entertainment and self-reflection quiz, not a tarot reading or a fortune-telling tool: your answers are mapped across 5 original personality traits, intuition, action, light, order and individuality, and your result is the card whose symbolism most closely matches your profile.

How the result is calculated

Each of the 5 dimensions (Intuition, Action, Light, Order, Individual) draws 2 of 9 possible scenarios from its bank on every attempt, just 10 questions total, to keep the quiz quick and light. Each scenario has 4 to 5 answer choices, each carrying a different weight from 0 to 3 on that section's dimension. It's a multiple-choice, scenario-based format, not an agreement scale, designed to feel more like a fun quiz than a psychometric survey.

Each dimension's answers are normalized to a 0-100 scale, forming your personality vector. The result is the Major Arcana whose vector (defined by us based on each card's traditional symbolism) is closest to yours, by Euclidean distance, the same mechanism used by this site's DISC and Big Five quizzes.

This is an entertainment and self-reflection quiz through symbolism, not a tarot reading or a scientific personality instrument: the 5 traits (intuition, action, light, order, individual) and each card's vector are an original creation of this site, inspired by the well-established symbolism of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, not a divination practice or a prediction about your future.

All possible results

The Fool

You live with one foot already in the next step and your heart open to whatever comes, you treat the unknown as an invitation, not a threat. You trust the process even without a map, and it's exactly that willingness to leap that takes you places more cautious people never reach. You stumble sometimes, but you'd rather that than never having tried.

The Magician

You have a gift for turning ideas into results: once you decide something is going to happen, you gather what you need and make it real. Your confidence doesn't come from luck, it comes from knowing how to use your own resources well, whether that's skill, time, or the right people around you. You're the one who makes things happen while everyone else is still just talking about them.

The High Priestess

You carry a quiet wisdom: you sense what's left unsaid before any explanation arrives. You'd rather observe than expose yourself, and that reserve isn't shyness, it's a way of protecting an intuition that's almost always right. People sense you know more than you let on, and they're usually right about that.

The Empress

You have a natural talent for helping things, and people, flourish around you. You create comfort without seeming to try, whether in a space, a relationship, or a project that's still just getting off the ground. Your creativity comes from a sensory, generous place, you nurture before you even notice you're doing it.

The Emperor

You're the one who brings order when everything else is too loose. You like structure, knowing who's responsible for what, and you're not afraid to take charge and decide for a group. That firmness inspires confidence, people know that with you in charge, things aren't going to fall apart.

The Hierophant

You value what's already been tested by time: traditions, shared values, a clear sense of belonging to something bigger than yourself. You like teaching what you've learned and being part of communities with common rules and purpose. It's not about following blindly, it's about believing that structure and legacy have real value.

The Lovers

Your most important choices always run through the heart, not because you're impulsive, but because values and connection matter more to you than any pros-and-cons list. You look for genuine alignment in relationships, and when you find it, you commit for real. Crossroads make you pause, not out of fear of choosing, but because you take the decision seriously.

The Chariot

You have an iron will and rarely lose sight of your own goal, even when opposing forces are pulling in different directions. It's that discipline in staying the course, more than raw talent, that gets you to the win. People trust you to take the wheel when the road gets rough.

Strength

Your strength isn't about imposing, it's about calming. You handle hard situations with patience and gentleness rather than pressure, and that usually works better than shouting louder. You have a quiet courage that shows up whenever someone needs steady support, including yourself.

The Hermit

You find your most important answers alone, away from the noise. It's not that you dislike people, it's that your clarity comes from within, and that takes time and quiet that only solitude can offer. When you resurface with a new insight, it's usually because stepping away was worth it.

Wheel of Fortune

You understand, more than most, that life moves in cycles, and instead of fighting the twists and turns, you've learned to ride them. You trust that things change, for better or worse, and that resisting rarely helps as much as adapting does. That flexibility with the unpredictable is your trademark.

Justice

You have an almost automatic sense of fairness: you quickly notice when something is off-balance and can't just let it slide. Your decisions come from cool analysis more than impulse, and you value accountability, your own and everyone else's. People turn to you when they need a genuinely impartial opinion.

The Hanged Man

You know the value of simply stopping. While everyone else is chasing the next thing, you sometimes choose to suspend action and look at the situation from a completely different angle. That voluntary pause isn't indecision, it's where you find the insights nobody else saw.

Death

You don't fear endings the way most people do, you know some things have to die so others can be born. When a cycle runs its course (a job, a relationship, an older version of yourself), you're able to let go instead of clinging. It's a transformative force that scares other people more than it scares you.

Temperance

You're the one who finds the middle ground when everything else feels too extreme. You have a gift for blending things that seemed incompatible, ideas, people, rhythms, into something balanced in the end. Your patience isn't passivity; it's the skill of letting things settle in their own time.

The Devil

You know your own attachments and temptations well, and you don't pretend they don't exist. You've experienced what it's like to be stuck in a pattern that wasn't good for you, and that's given you a self-awareness a lot of people avoid. Recognizing your own shadow is, paradoxically, the first step to breaking free of it.

The Tower

You're not afraid to tear down a structure that no longer makes sense, even if it shakes everything around it. When you notice something is built on a false foundation, you'd rather have the shock of a sudden truth than keep a comfortable illusion going. Your biggest reinventions usually come right after a collapse you let happen.

The Star

Even after a hard stretch, you're the one who can see a light at the end of the tunnel, and that hope isn't naivety, it's a conscious choice to keep believing. You inspire people around you just by holding onto faith when it would be easier to give up. Your calm after the storm is genuinely rare.

The Moon

You navigate gray areas well, dreams, murky feelings, ambiguous situations where nothing is fully clear. Your intuition is razor-sharp, but you also know it can trick you, so you've learned to live with uncertainty without needing to resolve it right away. You're deeply connected to your own unconscious.

The Sun

You carry a contagious joy that lights up any room you walk into. It's not about faking positivity, it's a genuine, almost childlike vitality that makes things feel simpler than they actually are. People feel lighter around you, and that's no accident.

Judgement

You have moments of sudden clarity where everything that needed to make sense finally does. You're able to look back, honestly assess what you did well and what needs to change, and answer that call without getting tangled up in excuses. Your fresh starts tend to be genuine, not just New Year's resolutions.

The World

You have a talent for closing cycles with a genuine sense of accomplishment, not just relief. When you finish something, a project, a phase, a long-term goal, you feel the full integration of everything it took to get there. There's a sense of wholeness in you that comes from having walked the entire path, not skipped steps.

Frequently asked questions

Sort of. The 22 cards and their traditional meanings come from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, one of the most widely used in the world. But the scoring method, the 5 personality traits and each card's vector, is an original creation of this site, built to turn tarot symbolism into a personality quiz, not a traditional tarot reading done with physical cards.
