When only the boleto's digitable line survives (the photo got cropped, the PDF is gone, or someone only copied the numbers), the due date can still be recovered: it is encoded in digits 34 through 37 of the line, the so-called due-date factor.

It depends on the payee and their rules for late fees and interest. Many banks and payment apps accept overdue boletos and recompute the amount automatically; others require an updated reissue. This tool shows the date encoded in the line, it does not decide whether payment will still be accepted.
