The classic meme look, uppercase text, white with a thick black outline, at the top and bottom of the image, is not idle fashion: it is a legibility solution. The black outline ensures the white letters read over any background, light or dark, and the tall, condensed font (the style made famous by Impact) fills the width well without needing much vertical space. This tool reproduces that style with automatic line wrapping and an outline proportional to the image size, so the meme stays legible at any resolution. Three choices make the meme work over any image. White is the most legible text color on most backgrounds; the black outline (stroke) makes it stand out precisely when the background is also light, keeping the letters from vanishing; and uppercase, in a tall condensed font like Impact, creates dense text blocks that are easy to scan.
