Build /give commands with item, count, enchantments and a custom name
The /give command hands items to a player, and it gets powerful when you add enchantments, a custom name and the unbreakable flag. The syntax, however, changed a lot: up to 1.20.4 you used NBT tags in curly braces; from 1.20.5 on, Minecraft adopted item components in square brackets. This tool assembles the command for you in both formats. Choose the item (with suggestions for the most common ones, but accepting any id), set the count from 1 to 64, add enchantments with their max levels respected, give the item a name and mark it unbreakable if you like. The command is handed to the nearest player (@p) and generated in real time, ready to paste into chat, command blocks or datapacks.
Up to 1.20.4, an item's extra data (enchantments, name, unbreakable) was written as NBT tags in curly braces right after the item id. From 1.20.5 on, Minecraft switched to item components in square brackets, with names like minecraft:enchantments, minecraft:custom_name and minecraft:unbreakable. The two formats are not interchangeable: a command from one will not run on the other.
The tool generates the exact same configuration in both formats, so you pick the one matching your world or server version. It also respects each enchantment's vanilla max level in the interface and escapes special characters in the custom name automatically.
Example 1, a diamond sword with Sharpness V, unbreakable and the name "Excalibur", in the modern format (1.20.5+): /give @p diamond_sword[minecraft:enchantments={"minecraft:sharpness":5},minecraft:custom_name='{"text":"Excalibur"}',minecraft:unbreakable={}] 1.
Example 2, a diamond pickaxe with Efficiency V and Fortune III, in the legacy format (1.13–1.20.4): /give @p diamond_pickaxe{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:efficiency",lvl:5},{id:"minecraft:fortune",lvl:3}]} 1. Note that legacy uses the Enchantments list with id and lvl, while modern uses a component map.
Via command you can go beyond the normal limits: you can apply levels above the vanilla maximum or combine enchantments the enchanting table would treat as incompatible (like Sharpness and Smite on the same sword). The game accepts it, though the effect does not always scale beyond normal and the display can look odd.
The command is handed to @p (the nearest player), but you can edit the target to @s (yourself), @a (everyone) or a player's name. This tool generates Java Edition commands; Bedrock uses a different, more limited /give syntax for item data, so the command would need adapting.

In the 1.20.5 update, Minecraft replaced the NBT system with item components. Commands written in the old format (curly braces) do not work on 1.20.5+, and vice versa. That is why the tool generates both, pick based on your world or server version so the command works first try.
