Tesouro Direto is a program from the Brazilian Treasury (Tesouro Nacional) that allows individuals to buy government bonds. Three main types are available: Tesouro Selic (post-fixed, tracks Selic), Tesouro IPCA+ (inflation-linked with a spread), and Tesouro Prefixado (fixed annual rate known at purchase). All are subject to the IR regressive table and a B3 custody fee of 0.20% per year.
