This calculator applies Brazil's Simplified Taxation Regime (RTS) to orders up to US$ 3,000. Customs value is product plus shipping plus insurance, converted at the dollar rate. For an individual buying from a Remessa Conforme store, since May 12, 2026 the import duty (II) is zero up to US$ 50 and, above that, 60% of the customs value minus US$ 30 off the tax (Portaria MF 1,342/2026, Provisional Measure 1,357/2026 and Law 15,502/2026, signed on Sept 10, 2026). Between Aug 1, 2024 and May 11, 2026 it was 20% up to US$ 50 and 60% minus US$ 20 above, the so-called blouse tax. Outside the program, or for a company, it is 60% with no deduction. ICMS is a gross-up tax: (customs value + duty) divided by 1 minus the rate, and it runs from 17% to 20% depending on the state. Paying by card or any other foreign-currency method adds 3.5% IOF. A check against the Receita Federal's own example: a R$ 510 order in Remessa Conforme, with the dollar at R$ 5.00, pays R$ 156.00 of duty and R$ 136.41 of ICMS in São Paulo, which puts the total at R$ 802.41 before IOF. For an individual in a Remessa Conforme store, import duty is zero on orders up to US$ 50 of customs value (product plus shipping and insurance) and, above that, 60% minus US$ 30, a rule for declarations registered since May 12, 2026. On a US$ 100 order that is US$ 30 of duty. State ICMS still applies in every band. Outside the program, or in a company's name, duty is 60% with no deduction, even on small orders.

Pará moved from 17% to 19% on Jan 1, 2026. Until Mar 31, 2025 every state charged 17%.
IOF: 3.5% since May 23, 2025 on cards, prepaid, cash and transfers (Decree 6,306/2007). Before: 4.38% on cards in 2024 and 3.38% from Jan 2 to May 22, 2025.
