It is a Chinese classic of divination and philosophy with 64 hexagrams, figures of six solid or broken lines. Its core, the Zhouyi, comes from the Western Zhou dynasty (around the 9th century BCE). Each hexagram has a judgment, an image and six line texts.
They are the two changing-line values: 6 is old yin (broken) and 9 is old yang (solid). Sums 7 and 8 give stable lines. The numbers come from adding the three coins.
Read the judgment and the image of the hexagram. There is no resulting hexagram, because the situation is read as stable at the moment of the question.
In the traditional reading it shows the tendency of change, not a fixed fact. Use it as one more question: if the situation moves in that direction, how do you position yourself?
Each line comes from three coins (heads 3, tails 2). Sum 6: 12.5%. Sum 7: 37.5%. Sum 8: 37.5%. Sum 9: 12.5%.
Set the value of each line, from the base (line 1) to the top (line 6): 6 and 9 are changing, 7 and 8 are stable.
The cast happens in your browser; nothing is sent to servers. The cast link carries only the six line values, never your question.
