The Lorem Ipsum Generator creates filler text to fill prototypes, mockups and wireframes while the real content does not exist yet. You choose among six themes, the classic Latin one (lorem ipsum) and variations like technology, nature, business, food and fantasy, the output type (words, sentences or paragraphs), the amount and the letter case. Sentences are assembled from word banks embedded in the app, with light punctuation so they look natural, and you can start with the traditional "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…" in the classic theme. The "Regenerate" button produces a new variation on each click, handy for testing different volumes in the same layout. Because the word banks already ship inside the app, no network request is made: everything is generated locally in the browser.
The generator assembles the text from embedded word lists, one per theme: the classic one uses the traditional Latin vocabulary (lorem, ipsum, dolor…), while the technology, nature, business, food and fantasy themes bring their own sets to give the placeholder a different flavor. Sentences have between 8 and 18 words, with commas inserted lightly, and paragraphs gather 3 to 6 sentences.
You control three things: the output type (loose words, sentences or paragraphs), the amount (up to 200) and the letter case (normal, capitalize each word, UPPERCASE or lowercase). The "Start with Lorem ipsum…" option applies to the classic theme and inserts the traditional opening before the rest of the text.
Example 1, classic opening: with the "Classic" theme, "Words" type, amount 5 and the start-with-Lorem option enabled, the output is "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet", the most recognizable opening of the format.
Example 2, themed paragraph: choosing the "Technology" theme and the "Paragraphs" type, the text is built from terms like cache, runtime, endpoint and pipeline, in punctuated sentences, useful when you want a placeholder that "feels" like the product's domain, without carrying real meaning.
Filler text is ideal for advancing the visuals before final copy: testing wireframes, components, typographic hierarchy, block sizes and layout behavior with different text volumes. Because it carries no real message, it helps evaluate proportion and rhythm without anyone getting distracted reading the content.
A few caveats: placeholder is content with no practical meaning, so remember to replace it before publishing; a layout that works with lorem may break once real copy comes in; and to truly validate readability, SEO and UX, it is better to test with content close to the real thing in the final stage.
Paste the code into your HTML and the tool shows up on your page, without J-Kit's navigation and ads. It still runs in the browser of whoever visits your site.
