minecraft potion duration chart
The Durations tab of the tool lists all 19 effect potions as base, extended and level II, with the exact ticks, and switches form and edition on the spot. This page explains the values and the exceptions that tend to confuse.
3,600, 9,600 and 1,800 ticks.
1,800 against 2,400 ticks.
432 against 450 ticks.
Slowness IV and Resistance III on the base.
1/4 of 8:00.
900 ticks divided by 8, rounded down.
Each step takes 20 seconds (400 ticks) and the stand processes up to 3 bottles per step. An extended splash Speed has 4 steps (wart, sugar, redstone, gunpowder), or 80 seconds per batch. Nine bottles on one stand are 3 batches, 4 minutes; with 3 stands the 3 batches run together and take 80 seconds.
Among those you can brew, the 3:00 ones extended with redstone, which reach 8:00: Speed, Strength, Leaping, Night Vision, Invisibility, Water Breathing and Fire Resistance. The 1.21 potions stay at 3:00 and cannot be extended.
The chart value applies to a direct hit. Away from the impact point the effect shrinks, and since 1.21.6 the calculation uses how close the potion and victim hitboxes were.
Almost. Bedrock has Decay (Wither) and Java has Luck, and neither can be brewed. Java recipes work in Bedrock, but Bedrock accepts a few more, such as Weakness from the awkward potion.
