The draw is the easy part. Arguments come from rules nobody agreed on: how much to spend, when to hand over, what happens if someone leaves. Settle five things before tapping Draw.

There is no right number. What matters is that the group agrees beforehand and the ceiling fits the pocket of whoever has the least room. When in doubt, pick the amount the most budget-conscious person would spend without a second thought.
Yes, by opening their own link like everyone else. To keep the surprise, they should not use the button that shows the pairs, nor look at the draw proof before the party.
You can, but many prefer to avoid it. Under Draw rules, paste last year pairs as Anna > Ben and the tool repeats none of them.
