Find the highest pitch you can hear in each ear, from 8 to 20 kHz, with a guided two-interval test. It is a curiosity, not an exam.
This test plays pure tones at 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 kHz, one ear at a time, and records the highest frequency you identify. Instead of an "I hear it" button, which mixes the tone with tinnitus and wishful listening, each trial randomizes which of two intervals holds the tone, and you must point to the right one twice in a row. A 1 kHz check tone comes first to confirm volume and channel. The result is a chart per ear and the highest frequency identified. It does not compute a hearing age, because there are no normal reference values above 8 kHz, and it does not measure thresholds in dB, because web volume is not calibrated. It is a curiosity and no substitute for an audiogram.

It plays pure tones at 1 kHz (check) and then 8 to 20 kHz in one ear at a time. Each trial has two intervals of about one second, with three short tone pulses in only one of them, chosen at random. You answer in which one you heard the tone. Two correct answers unlock the next frequency; a wrong answer or an "I heard nothing" ends that ear, and the last frequency you got right becomes the result.
