Is every overdue INSS installment corrected by the same index from start to finish?
No. The Public Treasury regime changes index at marks set by court rulings: TR until 03/25/2015, IPCA-E/INPC until 12/08/2021, and full SELIC from 12/09/2021 (EC 113/2021). A single claim spanning those marks is corrected in segments, not with one flat rate.
Is there a deadline to claim overdue INSS installments?
Yes, five years: art. 103, sole paragraph, of Law 8,213/1991 time-bars installments due more than five years before the administrative request or the filing date, and installments outside that window are excluded from the calculation.
What is the difference between receiving through RPV and through a precatório?
RPV (Small-Value Requisition) pays faster and applies to amounts up to an indicative cap of 60 minimum wages in force on the target date; above that limit, which each Regional Federal Court can adjust by its own resolution, payment follows the precatório queue, usually much longer.
Does the Law 11,960/2009 savings-account interest enter the calculation automatically?
Not in this tool for the interval between 03/26/2015 and 12/08/2021: it applies monetary correction via IPCA-E/INPC in that phase, but does not compute the savings-account interest for the period, which can leave the total below the amount actually owed. Confirm those competencies in the HISCRE statement.
