A Place ID identifies one place, a map inside the game. A Universe ID identifies the whole experience, which can group several places. A simple game has one place; a large game can have many, all in the same universe.
Convert Place ID to Universe ID and back. Paste an ID, a game link or a list.
On Roblox, a game (experience) is a universe that can contain several places. The Place ID is the number in the game link, roblox.com/games/<Place ID>, and identifies one specific place. The Universe ID identifies the experience as a whole and is what many APIs and creator features ask for, such as Open Cloud and game data lookups. This tool accepts an ID, a game link (including /pt/games or games/start?placeId= forms) or a list of up to 50 items, converts between the two kinds and shows the name, creator, players right now, visits, like ratio and last update. The data comes from Roblox's public APIs, called by our server because browsers cannot call them directly. Converting a Universe ID to a Place ID returns the root place, the starting place of the game. Private or removed games may have no public data.
Paste the code into your HTML and the tool shows up on your page, without J-Kit's navigation and ads. It still runs in the browser of whoever visits your site.
