At the start of each round, 4 questions are drawn from the deck and shown to whoever is about to give the first guess. That player picks one to play, the other 3 are discarded. This avoids questions where the answer is already obvious to everyone in the wording, there's always a better one to pick instead.

Doubt It!
A bluffing party game of number guessing, with advanced challenges and a card-based scoreboard
Bluffing, guessing and challenges, right in your browser
Doubt It! is a bluffing party game of number guessing for 2 to 10 players, played around a single device. Each round, whoever gives the first guess picks 1 of 4 questions with an exact numeric answer drawn on the spot, records, measurements and counts of verifiable facts, always with the source shown as soon as the answer is revealed. Going clockwise, each player gives a guess higher than the last one, trying to get close to the real answer without going over it. At any point, instead of raising the guess, someone can shout "Doubt It!" to challenge the last guess: if it went over the real answer, the guesser takes the round's card; if it didn't, the challenger takes it instead. After a configurable number of rounds (10 by default), whoever holds the most cards is the table's "biggest loser", everyone else wins. Three advanced modules, turned on by default and toggleable before the match starts, raise the tension even further: "Raise the stakes?" lets you push back on a challenge before accepting it; "Doubled!" rewards doubling the previous guess with a chip that cancels weight in the tiebreak; and "Bullseye!" lets someone bet everything on an exact hit, awarding no card to anyone on a hit, but making a miss take the entire remaining deck.
Set the table and start the round
- Add 2 to 10 players, pick the topics and question weights, and decide which of the 3 advanced modules join the match.
- Tap "Start match": whoever starts the round picks 1 of 4 questions drawn on screen. From there, each player says their guess out loud, whoever is holding the device types the number in and confirms.
- Whenever you think the last guess went over the real answer, tap "Doubt It!" to challenge it. The answer is revealed, the card goes to whoever was wrong, and the card-based scoreboard stays visible until the match ends.
