how to make a slowed and reverb song
Open the tool, drop the song and tap Slowed + reverb. The preset already sets the speed to 0.85x, turns on the vinyl effect and adds the reverb. After that you just listen, adjust the mix and download.
12 × log2(0.85) = −2.8135 semitones.
200 ÷ 0.85.
Exaggerates the effect; works better on slow songs.
Useful for matching another track.
Exponential fall: 20 dB per second.
Speed (tempo) is how fast the music moves; pitch is how high or low it sounds. On a record or a basic player the two move together. Here you can change one without touching the other: 0.8x with the original pitch makes the song 25% longer without making it deeper, and +3 semitones at the same speed only makes it higher.
There is no technical standard. The preset uses 0.85x, with a drop of about 2.8 semitones, and you can try 0.8x to 0.9x to hear the difference. Below 0.75x the voice tends to lose clarity.
Yes. Turn off the Pitch follows speed option and the tool uses WSOLA time-stretch. The result is a slow song at the original pitch, which is a different sound: without the deep tone typical of slowed.
