how much will the FGTS birthday withdrawal pay
Type your total balance and birthday month in the This year tab: the simulator shows the amount, the band applied, what stays in FGTS and the dates in which you can withdraw.
R$ 300 x 50% = R$ 150.00.
R$ 320 plus R$ 50.
R$ 900 plus R$ 150.
R$ 1,800 plus R$ 1,150; R$ 9,050 stays in FGTS.
R$ 1,250 plus R$ 2,900.
R$ 2,500 plus R$ 2,900: only 10.8% of the balance.
Add up the balance of all accounts, apply the rate of the band (from 50% to 5%) and add the fixed amount of the band. Balance of R$ 3,000: 30% is R$ 900, plus R$ 150, total R$ 1,050. Balance of R$ 25,000: 5% is R$ 1,250, plus R$ 2,900, total R$ 4,150.
Yes. The law applies the rate to the sum of all the holder balances in linked accounts on the debit date. When there is more than one account, the withdrawal starts with accounts from ended jobs, smallest balance first.
The app uses the balance computed on the debit date, already with that month interest. If you enter a balance from weeks ago, the difference is a few reais. The table can also change by act of the executive, so always check in the FGTS app.
The amount is set by law, and what you do not take during the window goes back to the account. Anyone who prefers not to receive it just lets the deadline pass, but the money can only be taken the following year.
Add up all accounts (active and inactive), as shown in the FGTS app.
Next withdrawal window: June 01, 2027 to August 31, 2027. Estimated from the rule (first business day of the birthday month to the last business day of the second following month). Confirm in the FGTS app.
| Balance band | Rate | Fixed amount | Withdrawal at band ceiling |
|---|---|---|---|
| R$0.01 to R$500.00 | 50% | - | R$250.00 |
| R$500.01 to R$1,000.00 | 40% | R$50.00 | R$450.00 |
| R$1,000.01 to R$5,000.00 | 30% | R$150.00 | R$1,650.00 |
| R$5,000.01 to R$10,000.00 | 20% | R$650.00 | R$2,650.00 |
| R$10,000.01 to R$15,000.00 | 15% | R$1,150.00 | R$3,400.00 |
| R$15,000.01 to R$20,000.00 | 10% | R$1,900.00 | R$3,900.00 |
| Above R$20,000.00 | 5% | R$2,900.00 | - |
The fixed amount was set so the table has no steps: at the ceiling of each band, the old rate and the new rate give the same amount. Moving up a band only lowers the percentage, never the amount in reais.
Example at the R$ 5,000 boundary: a balance of R$ 5,000.00 pays R$1,650.00; R$ 5,000.01 pays R$1,650.00.
