A tolerance of 0.287 px and blobs under 7 points dropped.
sketch to svg
For line drawings, the Line art preset uses just two colors, ink and paper, and with Remove background color you end up with an SVG of the line work alone.
A tolerance of 0.287 px and blobs under 7 points dropped.
A scale of about 0.34: a 3 px line becomes 1 px.
A scale of about 0.48, with double the pixel budget.
Paper 235, ink 30. The paper layer is dropped and the ink layer remains.
A tolerance of 0.125 px. Keeps what detail 8 would filter out.
Upload the image, pick the type (Logo works for most cases) and download the SVG. The conversion is a trace: the tool reduces the colors, follows the outline of every region and writes shapes instead of pixels. It is not just wrapping the PNG inside an SVG file, which would still be a picture made of pixels.
You can. Photograph the paper from above, under even light, and upload the photo directly. Shadows on the sheet turn into blotches, so shoot straight on and near a window. The Line art preset with Remove background color is usually enough. If a large shadow crosses the page, try raising Smoothing.
With 2 colors and the background removed, yes: the SVG has one filled path in the average ink color. For another color, open the SVG in an editor and change the fill attribute, or copy the SVG and swap the hex value in the text.
There are two causes: the image was scaled down to fit the trace resolution, and Detail filters small blobs. Use the High resolution, raise Detail to 9 or 10 and leave Smoothing at 0.
Tracing works best on logos, icons and flat art. Photos turn into a posterized version, like a poster print.
