The Lottery Bet Cost Calculator shows how much it costs to play each Caixa lottery based on the number of marked numbers. When you mark more numbers than a simple bet, you cover several combinations at once, and the price grows accordingly. The tool computes the number of simple games covered, the total bet amount and the top-prize odds, plus a reference table by number count. The prices used are the official values in effect; always confirm on the official channel before betting.
Marking more numbers than a simple bet is equivalent to playing every possible simple bet within that group. The number of games covered is C(numbers marked, numbers in the simple bet), and the total price is that number multiplied by the simple bet's value. That is why the cost grows combinatorially, not linearly.
On +Milionária there is an extra factor: besides the numbers, you choose clovers, and the total games multiply the number combinations by the clover combinations. The values used are Caixa's official prices in effect (table effective 2025-07-09), always confirm on the official channel (loterias.caixa.gov.br) before betting.
On Mega-Sena (a simple bet of 6 numbers), marking 7 numbers covers C(7, 6) = 7 games; 8 numbers cover C(8, 6) = 28 games; 9 numbers, 84 games; and 10 numbers, 210 games. At the base price of BRL 6.00 per game, that is BRL 42, BRL 168, BRL 504 and BRL 1,260 respectively. Each extra number multiplies the amount quickly.
Those 7 numbers also raise the jackpot chance in the same proportion: from 1 in 50,063,860 to 7 in 50,063,860, that is, about 1 in 7,151,980. On Lotofácil, marking 16 numbers (the simple bet is 15) covers C(16, 15) = 16 games, costs BRL 56.00 and improves the top prize to about 1 in 204,298.
Marking more numbers greatly raises the prize probability, but the cost climbs very fast, and the cost per covered game stays the same, meaning there is no "volume discount". Use the reference table to find the balance between the chance you want and how much you're willing to spend.
