The complete ranking of the 10 poker hands with real cards, the exact probability of each one, and a hand evaluator
Poker uses a standard 52-card deck, and any 5-card hand falls into exactly one of 10 categories, ranked from rarest (Royal Flush) to most common (High Card). This tool shows the full ranking with a real example hand for each category, not just the name, but the actual cards, and the exact probability of each one occurring in a 5-card draw out of the 2,598,960 possible combinations from a 52-card deck (the number C(52,5)). In Evaluator mode, you build your own 5-to-7-card hand (as in community-card games such as Texas Hold'em, where the final hand is the best 5-card combination out of your 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards) and the tool automatically identifies which category you formed, applying kicker-based tiebreaking when two hands tie on category (for example, two pair of Jacks with different kickers). The A-2-3-4-5 straight (known as the "wheel") is treated as a special case: the Ace counts as the low card and the sequence loses to any 6-high straight or better. Suit never breaks a tie in traditional poker, only the hand category and, within it, the card ranks.

First, the value of the main combination is compared (for example, the rank of the three-of-a-kind, or the higher pair in two pair), and if that ties, the remaining cards ("kickers") are compared in descending order. If every relevant rank is identical between two hands, it's a tie (split pot).
