The rarest hand in poker.
poker hand probability
A 52-card deck has exactly 2,598,960 possible 5-card combinations, the number C(52,5). Each of the 10 poker hand categories corresponds to a fixed, calculable slice of that total, which makes it possible to know precisely the chance of any specific hand occurring.
The rarest hand in poker.
Three of one rank plus a pair of another.
The most common hand above High Card.
First, the value of the main combination is compared (for example, the rank of the three-of-a-kind, or the higher pair in two pair), and if that ties, the remaining cards ("kickers") are compared in descending order. If every relevant rank is identical between two hands, it's a tie (split pot).
Yes, with 7 cards available (2 hole cards + 5 community cards) instead of 5, the chance of forming each strong hand category rises, because there are C(7,5) = 21 five-card combinations to pick the best one from among the 7.
Because it is the "residual" category: any 5-card hand that does not form a pair, straight, flush or better falls into High Card by default. With 1,302,540 combinations, it alone accounts for over 50% of all possible hands.
Evaluator mode tests every possible 5-card combination among the selected cards, classifies each one into the 10 categories, and picks the strongest, the same process that generates the numbers in this chart, applied to your specific hand.

Five cards in sequence, all of the same suit (except the Royal Flush).

Five cards of the same suit, out of sequence.
Five cards in rank sequence, of different suits. The Ace can be high (10-J-Q-K-A) or low (A-2-3-4-5).
Three cards of the same rank, plus two tiebreak kickers.
Two pairs of different ranks, plus one tiebreak kicker.
Two cards of the same rank, plus three tiebreak kickers.
