The solver keeps the guesses you already made and drops every word that would have produced a different result from the one the game showed. Green pins a letter to its position, yellow says the letter is somewhere else and gray removes it, with repeated letters handled carefully: a letter only turns gray once every occurrence of it has been accounted for. The candidate list gives more weight to the common words of the game, highlighted in green, and less to words that are only valid as guesses. The best next guess is the one that, on average, splits the remaining candidates the most (expected information, in bits). When many candidates remain, the suggestion uses letter frequency by position instead. The lists are the ones from this site's own word game and may differ from the lists of other games. Termo ignores accents when validating a word, so Portuguese words are typed without accents and shown with them when they exist.
