66.67% of the price becomes fees.
steam market minimum fee cheap items cents
Open the Price table tab, choose "Cheap items (1 cent)" and read the percent-in-fees column. It shows the 1-cent floor at work, row by row.
66.67% of the price becomes fees.
50.00% in fees.
28.57% in fees.
16.67% in fees.
9.52% in fees.
The game fee rises to 2 cents.
9.30% in fees, the lowest possible with 5% and 10%.
Two fees are added to the price you want to receive: a 5% Steam Transaction Fee and the game fee, which is 10% by default in Steam's script. Together they come to about 15% on top of your net, or 13.04% of what the buyer pays. Each fee has a 1-cent minimum.
With 1 cent net and two 1-cent floors, the lowest buyer price is 0.03. No listing at 0.01 or 0.02 exists, and the tool shows a warning when the typed price is below that.
You receive 0.01 per unit, so 100 units net 1.00. If the item is just a by-product of a game it may be worth it; as income, the math is weak, and the time spent listing one by one usually costs more.
It does: with a 0% game fee only the Steam fee remains, and the lowest buyer price drops to 0.02. A price of 0.10 nets 0.09 instead of 0.08, because the 5% fee on 0.09 is lifted to the 1-cent floor.
Estimate based on the rules in Steam's script. Steam's listing dialog always has the final word.
