best armor enchantments minecraft
Armor is four items with different lists. Below is what all pieces share, what is exclusive to helmet and boots, and the real anvil costs.
These are the everyday books. The expensive ones stay off the list: Thorns III and Soul Speed III charge 12 each.
The last step reaches 17. It fits in 39, but the margin disappears if the boots already have uses.
Saves 11 levels and leaves the worst step at 9.
The tree saves 16 levels and drops the worst step from 17 to 9.
The step cost is the target prior work penalty, plus the sacrifice one, plus the enchantment costs (and 1 level if renaming). Each sacrifice enchantment costs its final level on the result times the table multiplier, with separate columns for book and item. Enchantments the target cannot take are ignored.
No. The four protections form an exclusive group. A second book from that group costs 1 level and is not applied. To vary, use a different protection on each piece.
Respiration and Aqua Affinity only on a helmet (and turtle shell). Feather Falling, Depth Strider, Frost Walker and Soul Speed only on boots. Swift Sneak only on leggings.
That is opinion and the tool does not measure it. The price is fact, though: Thorns III costs 12 levels as a book on a fresh piece, three times the price of Protection IV (4).
Because the piece accumulates prior work penalty with every use (0, 1, 3, 7, 15, 31). Combining books with each other first keeps the piece at fewer uses when it receives the expensive books.
