minecraft wandering trader trades
The wandering trader has no levels and no profession: it shows up, offers 9 trades rolled from three lists and leaves. The tool opens on it, with each list, each item's price and the chance of it being in your offer.
No villager sells a name tag in Java 26.1.
1 base emerald plus an enchanting cost of 5 to 19.
A single unit per trader.
Purchase list: you are the one handing over the item.
There are 9 log species on the special list.
The lists have 6, 75 and 15 trades.
Usually 2 per level, rolled from a list of candidates without repeats. The exception is the Master librarian, which rolls 3 but only has 2 candidates (the two candles) and offers both. A villager needs 0, 10, 70, 150 and 250 total XP to reach levels 1 to 5, and it earns XP every time you use a trade.
About 40 minutes near you, according to minecraft.wiki. Traders created by command or spawn egg do not leave on that clock.
Among Java 26.1 trades there is no other route: the Master librarian stopped selling name tags and now offers candles. The name tag remains available from other game sources, such as fishing and chests, which are not trades.
Villager reputation and curing a zombie villager do not apply to it. The values on this page are the base prices from the game files, with the pickaxe varying from 6 to 20 through its enchanting cost.
Minecraft Java Edition 26.1. Vanilla trades only: the experimental trade rebalance pack is not included.
