minecraft beacon recipe
The beacon grid shows at the top of the tool and the Materials tab lists the sand for the glass, the obsidian and the nether star, with the smelting and the coal.
Glass in the frame on top and at the sides, the nether star in the center and obsidian at the base: 5 glass, 1 star and 3 obsidian.
The 5 sand become the 5 glass in 5 smelts, and 1 coal is enough. The obsidian and the star go in without touching the furnace.
That is 10 sand, 6 obsidian and 2 nether stars. The 10 smelts take 2 coal, and the stars are what really sets the limit.
Both sit in the Nether group of advancements: one with create in its name, the other with full. Both start from the recipe on this page.
It adds up what each item needs across all branches and only then rounds the number of crafts up. One log makes 4 planks; if you need 5, that is 2 logs and 3 planks left over. Leftovers show on the Materials tab and are reused by other items on your list before more raw material is requested.
It takes 5 glass and 3 obsidian, plus 1 nether star in the center. The glass fills the top frame and the sides, and the obsidian forms the base.
Five sand, one for each glass, and smelting uses 1 coal. For 2 beacons, 10 sand and 2 coal.
No. The 3x3 grid has 9 cells and produces only the block. The mineral pyramid under it is a separate cost, with its own materials page by level.
No. The star takes the center of the grid and the recipe has no variant without it. Each beacon uses 1, so 2 beacons need 2 stars.
