minecraft ender chest recipe
The tool below shows the obsidian ring of the ender chest and, on the Materials tab, breaks the eye of ender into pearl and blaze rod, with the powder left over.
Eight obsidian take every cell except the center, where the eye of ender goes.
That is 8 obsidian, 1 pearl and 1 blaze rod. The rod gives 2 blaze powder, 1 becomes the eye and 1 is left over.
That is 16 obsidian, 2 pearls and 1 blaze rod. The 2 powders from that rod become the 2 eyes, and no powder is left.
The game keeps two outcomes in the block table: the chest, in the Silk Touch branch, and obsidian in the other. To move your base, bring a tool with that enchantment.
The chest is in the tag of blocks that piglins guard, besides the pickaxe tag. That counts if your base sits near them.
It adds up what each item needs across all branches and only then rounds the number of crafts up. One log makes 4 planks; if you need 5, that is 2 logs and 3 planks left over. Leftovers show on the Materials tab and are reused by other items on your list before more raw material is requested.
It takes 8 obsidian forming a ring, and 1 eye of ender in the center. For 2 chests, that is 16 obsidian.
One ender pearl and 1 blaze powder, which comes from the rod. Per chest, the final list has 1 pearl and 1 blaze rod, with 1 blaze powder left over.
Because the loot table only returns the chest in the Silk Touch branch. Without the enchantment, the game hands over obsidian. Bring a tool with it to pick the chest up.
Yes. One rod yields 2 blaze powder, and each chest uses 1 in its eye. That is why the count for 2 chests has 1 rod and 2 pearls, with no powder left.
