minecraft sticky piston recipe
The grid has only two cells, but the Materials tab of the tool opens up the piston that goes into it and adds everything, from cobblestone to the slime ball.
The slime ball goes in the upper cell and the finished piston in the lower one, in the same column. The rest of the grid stays empty.
The piston takes 4 cobblestone, 1 log, 1 raw iron and 1 redstone, and the slime ball goes in directly. The single smelt takes 1 coal.
The 64 cobblestone close exactly 1 stack, alongside 16 iron, 16 redstone, 16 slime balls and 12 logs. The 16 smelts take 2 coal.
It adds up what each item needs across all branches and only then rounds the number of crafts up. One log makes 4 planks; if you need 5, that is 2 logs and 3 planks left over. Leftovers show on the Materials tab and are reused by other items on your list before more raw material is requested.
It takes 1 slime ball per piston, plus the finished piston. For 16 sticky pistons, that is 16 slime balls.
It is 4 cobblestone, 1 log, 1 raw iron, 1 redstone and 1 slime ball. The iron takes 1 smelt and 1 coal, and 1 plank from the log is left over.
Not in this recipe: the grid asks for the slime ball, the loose item. The piston sits below it, in the same column.
It is 2 coal. The 16 pistons ask for 16 raw iron in the furnace, and each coal smelts 8 items. The slime ball does not go through smelting.
