minecraft end crystal recipe
Glass is the smallest problem here: the hard part of the cost is the ender pearl and the ghast tear. The tool below opens on the End Crystal and carries the count back to the blaze rod.
Glass around everything, the eye of ender in the center and the ghast tear right below it, between two glass.
It is 7 sand, 1 blaze rod, 1 pearl and 1 tear. The 7 smelts take 1 coal, and 1 blaze powder is left over.
They take 28 sand, 4 pearls (from a stack of 16), 4 tears and 2 rods. The 28 smelts burn 4 coal, and nothing is left over.
It is the only use of the End Crystal besides the recipe recorded in the Java 26.1 data.
It adds up what each item needs across all branches and only then rounds the number of crafts up. One log makes 4 planks; if you need 5, that is 2 logs and 3 planks left over. Leftovers show on the Materials tab and are reused by other items on your list before more raw material is requested.
1, inside the eye of ender. For 4 crystals that is 4 pearls, and 16 crystals fill a whole stack, because pearls stack only to 16.
Yes, 1 per crystal, at the bottom center. It is a raw material and does not come from smelting, so 4 crystals take 4 tears.
It is 7 glass, meaning 7 sand in the furnace, which takes 1 coal. For 4 crystals, 28 sand and 4 coal.
The Java 26.1 data names it in the advancement end/respawn_dragon, tied to bringing the dragon back. This page does not detail how the crystal works.
